Join Us for Camp Sisters

An immersive and contemplative weekend outdoors
AUGUST 28-30, 2020
shambhala mountain center, RED FEATHER LAKES, CO

This event is for women who want to connect with nature, each other, and themselves. We have a lineup of presenters who will be offering their skills and passions over the course of the weekend. There will be time to explore and learn new things, as well as take time to reflect and rejuvenate. Activities include hiking and running, survival skills, meditation and reflection, journaling and writing, art and music, deep conversations and dialogue. We recognize that we’re amidst a public health crisis and living in constant uncertainty. Now more than ever we believe that building community and cultivating space for individual and collaborative resilience is essential. Come join us.
Shambhala Mountain Center will provide us with plenty of space to camp within our own village area. We will have access to filtered drinking water, bathrooms with toilets and running water. They will also be providing us with hearty meals served directly to just the Camp Sisters group.
  • Cost is $250 per person.
  • All meals included. You’ll have a chance to tell us about any dietary restrictions upon registration. If there are specific morning beverages or snacks you’d like to enjoy during the weekend, feel free to bring them.
  • Participants will be responsible for getting to Shambhala Mountain Center. We can provide carpooling opportunities.
  • Skills and equipment required: All skill levels welcome! Camping gear required. We will provide a packing list, as well as a gear request form if you need to borrow equipment from Women’s Wilderness. Requested gear will be at Shambhala when you arrive.
